Welcome to Olde Simville!

One of the beauties of Sims 2 is the ability to download new neighbourhood maps and screens that have been created in Sim City 4. I have a few by various people, but I thought I would use this one based on the original game to make my 'olde worlde' neighbourhood, where you can wander round in your long frock, elf ears and funny coloured skin without looking out of place - and that's just the guys!

I think this one is by Elstone, but I've lost the link to her site. However, she does frequent Mod The Sims 2 (MTS2) which is also where a heck of a lot of the downloads have come from, in the theme A Midsimmer Night's Dream. Go there, you won't regret it.

And best of all, MTS2 is FREE!

Olde Simville starts to take shape

I don't know how to get rid of the random cars from the game, so lets just say they are magic carriages...

Olde Simville is growing! You can just see the main shopping street outside of the walls in the next 2 pics. I tend not to go use any of the other areas such as downtown as it takes so damn long to load them, even with a faster computer.

And I'll add a big thank you to James Sim Wardrobe here for his Sims 2 NPC replacer ensuring my maids, gardeners etc don't look too out of place!
